Tuition

Preschool tuition is based on a 12-month school year. It reflects school closures and holidays. Pre-registration for our current families takes place in January for the following school year and requires a registration fee to hold your child’s placement. Preschool tuition is based on number of days attended and is either part-time (7:30am-12:30pm) or full-time (7:30am-5:30pm).

K-8th Grade tuition is based on a 9-month school year and is broken into 10 installments. It reflects school holidays and closures. Pre-registration for our current families takes place in January for the following school year and requires a registration fee to hold your child’s placement. Financial Assistance Policy

First Christian School’s financial aid program is funded from various sources. The starting foundation comes from significant funds devoted from the general budget. The balance comes from the generosity of our Church members or any other individual or organizations who wish to support our families.

In order for us to allocate our resources wisely and fairly, when these funds are available, we have enlisted the help of Independent School Managements’ FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) program. FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather FAST provides a need based financial aid analysis which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. Applications are submitted directly to a third party company online by accessing the FCS website and clicking on the FAST button. All information from FAST is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Finance Department who makes recommendations to the Administrator based on next year’s budget. Upon approval by the Administrator, financial aid offers are sent to families. All applications must be submitted by April 30th in order to be considered for the upcoming school year. Each participating family and new families to the program must reapply each year.

  • Complete an application for admission to First Christian School please contact FCS Admissions at 707.253.7226 or admissions@fccnapa.org to set up a tour and receive the enrollment packet.
  • After completing and submitting an enrollment packet, please reach out to Mrs. Katie Perez for the link to the FAST online application.

Instructions: The application process is self-guided and allows navigation in and out of the program. FAST provides online customer support via email and a 24/7 telephone call center. Please go to the FAST website for complete instructions.

Basic Fund

The BASIC Fund (Bay Area Scholarships for Inner-City Children) is a privately funded program whose mission is to broaden the educational opportunities for inner-city children by helping low-income families afford the cost of tuition at private schools in the Bay Area.

The program is available to students entering Kindergarten through eighth grade to attend private schools in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. The program provides scholarships to help families send their children to the private school of their choice. BASIC Fund scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need and the child must be entering private school for the first time. Please see Basic Fund’s Eligibility Requirements below.

These scholarships are not guaranteed and First Christian School has no bearing on the decision process. To get the link to the BASIC Fund application, please schedule a tour with the school administrator, complete and submit an admissions packet and then email Mrs. Katie Perez. The application process begins in December of every year.
