Teens for Jeans Drive

Over a million young people experience homelessness in the US every year. One item they often request? A pair of jeans.

Jeans are the perfect item to donate. They can be worn multiple times between washes, can be dressed up or dressed down, and provide a sense of normalcy to the person wearing them.

First Christian School’s Student Government is running their fourth annual donation campaign to gather gently used jeans for local distribution to displaced teens and families.

This year’s campaign will run from Sunday, February 28, 2016, through Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Donations boxes will be in the FCS lobby during this time. Last year’s campaign collected 372 pairs of jeans, which placed FCS in the top 10% of all participating entities across the nation!

This year Student Government will be donating directly to our local Salvation Army for distribution to local Napa families. The Salvation Army is requesting sizes between a child’s 5 up to an adult waist size of 38, however, all sizes will be accepted.

Together we can help put a smile on a young person’s face. Donate your jeans for a homeless teen!
